My name is Tasneem Arif and I am a henna artist with a background in graphic design and illustration.
I have been designing henna for 7 years. I began doing henna for friends and family, who encouraged me to apply my talents as a business.
Applying henna is a fulfilling experience which I believe spreads beauty and joy in the world. I particularly love trendy, arabic-inspired henna designs.

About henna
I make my own henna paste and cones. Using only natural, organic ingredients to provide a cooling, comforting experience.
Henna, also known as Mehndi, is a form of body art that allegedly originated in hot desert areas such as the Arabian and Sahara deserts, and the Thar region in India. Women would apply henna paste to their hands and feet to cool themselves, and later noticed a beautiful maroon color appearing on their skin.
Henna is a natural paste made from the henna plant, a flowering desert shrub native to India and the Mediterranean coast.
It is used to create intricate, elegant patterns on the skin. Henna tattoos last from 1 – 5 weeks, lasting longest on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. It lasts briefly on the upper arms, back or face.
